I said closer:
Maybe I can zoom in a little. No one will notice:
But he really is handsome like this. Maybe? Yeah. We all want it:

Tony Bathing Adventures
Okay, so today I thought “Hmm, what a wonderfully sunny day to give the horse a bath.” and after the bathing attempt I thought “Well, damn we have some desensitizing to do.”
So it all started when well, the hose did. I think that now I should of just used a bucket and a sponge instead of a hose but with a horse you’ve only had for a few months that you rescued you wouldn’t know how they were with baths until you tried to give them one. And well thats what I did. Lessons learned and notes taken for the next time. Sponge, bucket, soap and maybe a thermobottle thing for warm water instead, also maybe when it’s not spring too. That could really help. Sugary feed and all. Let this guy off the lead and VROOOOOM off he goes trotting off into the sunset like an Arab at halter show.
I think that the one part of the entire bathing (more like traumatizing) experience was the cow kicking whenever the water touch his bottom. At least I now know what method to use with him. I guess the only way to find out with these sorts of things is to give it a go and expose them to the situation and find out how they react and go from there. Now I know what methods to try and then I’ll work to desensitize him. I feel bad for doing it to him but if a horse needs a bath for a good reason like say a bacterial infection or a chemical exposure (no idea how that would happen but weird things happen) you are going to want a calm horse to wash not one that is constantly trying to kick out and run off or rear up. Luckily I got the kicking and the not wanting to stand and that’s about it.
Yay for learning new things.
Here are some gifs to sum up todays situation: Starring TOM HIDDLESTON. YAAAAAY *claps*
